Bacon Wrapped Grilled Carrots finished with a Maple Glaze are a fantastic side dish to any holiday or casual meal. Sweet, savory, rich, and tender, these grilled and glazed carrots are sure to win your guests over (and your kids too!).
- 3 pounds whole carrots
- 1½ pounds bacon
- ½ cup maple syrup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your pelletsmoker to 400 °F.
- Thoroughly scrub and peel each carrot, leaving about an inch of the stems.Wrap bacon slice around each carrot starting at one end, and overlap the ends so they are secured. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place the wrapped carrots on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook for 25-30 minutes or until the bacon is golden and crispy.
- During the last 5 minutes of grilling, bastethe carrots with the maple syrup. Grill until the syrup starts to bubble, remove from the grill,and serve immediately.
